The role emphasizes proactive management of design, coordination of documentation, and alignment with budget and scope goals. The candidate will lead design deliverables across design-build or design-assist projects, manage RFIs, and drive BIM workflows.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or Architecture required; MS preferred.
• Professional Engineer or Registered Architect preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Excellent Facilitator capabilities.
• Good understanding of building systems.
• Hands-on field experience in design and construction.
• Enjoys training others.

Responsibilities

• Define, schedule and monitor design deliverables on projects with design-build or alternate delivery.
• Monitor quality and timeliness of design deliverables to all parties.
• Coordinate design document packaging strategies with project team.
• Interface with Project teams to define content quality and milestones.
• Manage RFI process for design questions between Owner and design team.
• Develop BIM execution plan for project with BIM Manager.
• Host Value Analysis sessions to optimize cost and select materials.
• Coordinate with Owner vendors to integrate equipment requirements.
