Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• 2 years of engineering experience or an advanced degree in engineering.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings; familiarity with ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for quality notifications.
• Provide guidance for supplier technical inquiries.
• Execute hardware Engineering Changes (ECs) to improve quality, cost, and producibility metrics.
• Perform CAD functions to manipulate and create geometries, models, and assemblies.
• Interpret and define tolerances and features in part drawings.
• Develop and incorporate new ways to advance technology and improve processes.
• Perform engineering analyses such as structural assessments and other calculations.
• Support escape investigations, identifying root causes and execute implementation of corrective actions.
• Provide design support in integrated product teams to implement design solutions that balance performance, cost, schedule, and quality requirements.
• Prepare and present status and technical content to Program Chief Engineers, APU management, customers, and suppliers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers.
