Job summary

Skyworks is offering a Design Engineering Internship in Florida within our Advanced Cellular group. The program provides real work experience, mentoring from industry experts, and the potential to pursue full-time opportunities based on performance.

Interns will tackle projects such as AI-assisted measurement analysis, BAW thermal simulations, and resonator testing while collaborating with a team of engineers.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering with analog/RF coursework or experience.
• Exposure to RF measurement equipment (spectrum/network analyzers) is a plus.
• Strong interest in accelerator learning opportunities and potential full-time opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Use AI tool to automate measurement analysis.
• BAW Thermal Simulation with ANSYS.
• Define BAW Resonator Ruggedness Test Plan.
• Work with Test Engineer to perform resonator level Power Limit Test.
• Data Analysis for resonators across different Filter Technologies.
• Propose Resonator Ruggedness Limit condition in Filter Design.

Skyworks' Design Engineering Internships are offered in our Advanced Cellular business group. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.

Responsibilities

Required Experience And Skills

• Currently pursuing a MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering
• Analog/RF circuit design coursework and/or experience

Desired Experience And Skills

• Exposure to RF measurement equipment such as spectrum analyzers and network analyzers preferred
• Software/Coding Exposure: ADS, AWR, FEM, HFSS, Momentum, Cadence, Dynamic Link preferred
• Prior experience using ANSYS preferred

The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $29.00 - $49.00 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $23.00 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
