Q1 Technologies, Inc. tests and implements advanced thermal management solutions, designing heat exchangers and cooling modules to optimize product performance. You will create 3D CAD models, produce detailed drawings, and assemble accurate BOMs for production.

Collaborating with manufacturing, testing, and product teams, you will evaluate ECOs, participate in design reviews, and help streamline product development from concept to production in a fast-paced environment in Irvine.

Qualificações

• Proficiency in CAD software including SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, or Siemens NX.
• Strong knowledge of thermal management, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer.
• Excellent collaboration with manufacturing, testing, and product teams.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering or related field.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer – Thermal Systems to join our engineering team. In this role, you will focus on the design, development, and integration of advanced thermal management components, ensuring optimal product performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop thermal systems components including heat exchangers, cooling modules, and fluid routing systems.
• Create 3D CAD models, detailed manufacturing drawings, complex assemblies, and accurate Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Support design reviews and systematically implement necessary engineering changes (ECOs).
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline product development from concept to production.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, or Siemens NX.
• Strong foundational knowledge of thermal management principles, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer.
• Excellent collaboration skills to interface effectively with manufacturing, testing, and product teams.

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a closely related field.
