Job summary

Leonardo DRS is seeking an engineer to develop, analyze, test, and support HVAC&R products and systems, including heat exchangers, air conditioning, refrigeration, and air handling equipment.

Responsibilities include supporting proposals, component selection, technical documentation, prototype qualification, and production, ensuring delivery within schedule and budget while meeting design requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field is required.
• Ability to create technical documentation and use Microsoft Office, especially Excel is required.
• HVAC&R and fluid-system design experience, MATLAB familiarity, and LabVIEW experience are desirable.

Job description

Develop, analyze, test, and support HVAC&R products and systems, including heat exchangers, air conditioning, refrigeration, and air handling equipment. Requirements: A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field is required, along with the ability to create technical documentation and use Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Desired qualifications include HVAC&R and fluid-system design experience, familiarity with MATLAB and process simulators such as Aspen or CHEMCAD, LabVIEW experience, systems engineering experience, and U.S. citizenship.
