Job summary

Adams Thermal Systems, Inc is seeking a seasoned mechanical design engineer to contribute to engine cooling and air conditioning systems. You will apply heat transfer and fluid flow knowledge to develop robust designs for vehicles and will lead cross-functional teams from engineering, manufacturing, and purchasing to ensure successful launches.

Qualifications

• Five plus years of design experience in an OEM manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience with a parametric based CAD software.
• Experience in sheet metal design and weldments.
• Experience in heat exchanger products and processes (brazing) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates expert level of design and analysis skills for engine cooling and A/C components.
• Lead Design FME's with cross-functional groups.
• Utilize QPC process as outlined in IATF-16949 standard.
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed.
• Support manufacturing for prototyping or production launches.
• Direct designers and drafters providing project support.
• Establish strong relationships with customers and drive quality improvements.
