Job summary

Ground Effects LLC seeks a Design Engineer to explore research opportunities for new products and to prototype and design manufacturing processes with a focus on cost-effectiveness, user experience, and environmental considerations. You will analyze test data and craft progress reports for ongoing projects.

The role requires developing new engineering products using CAD tools, ensuring usability and safety, and documenting designs and revisions for future reference. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Engineering degree.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience as a Design Engineer or similar role.
• 2+ years working in manufacturing environment.
• Good understanding of safety standards and environmental impact of a design.
• Ability to travel internationally.
• Strong technical background and understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Experience using engineering software.
• Proven engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
