Valmont Industries, Inc. in Bartow, Florida is seeking an experienced Design Engineer for prestressed concrete poles. This role focuses on engineering, design, and drafting to meet project goals, with oversight of structural analysis and product manufacturability in collaboration with sales and operations.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in Engineering, proficiency in MS Office and 3D CAD, and travel up to 10%. Advanced degrees or PE license are a plus.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Proficiency with MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Working knowledge of 3D CAD Software.
• Travel up to 10% of the time.

Mansioni

• Analyze and design products by Finite Element Method and other structural design software, considering safety and cost.
• Interpret customer specifications, needs, and market/sales requirements.
• Understand fabrication processes and quality assurance methods used by Valmont.
• Provide design direction and technical support to other engineers and designers.
• Oversee modifications to existing designs to meet manufacturing capabilities and cost reduction goals.
