Job summary

Valmont Industries, Inc. is seeking an Associate Engineer to design and analyze standard products for quotation and fabrication by the Utility Division.

You will work with the engineering team to ensure designs meet customer specs, codes, and manufacturability, focusing on efficiency and cost. You will perform structural analysis using finite element methods and other software, support drafting, and help coordinate work flows to hit project milestones in a collaborative onsite role at Valley, NE

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field with 0–2 years experience.
• Proficiency in structural engineering.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Detail oriented and able to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and design structures by finite element and other software.
• Interpret customer specifications and translate to design.
• Support drafting and sales with engineering data.
• Coordinate with team to meet milestone dates.
• Assist with pricing and quoting information related to engineering.
