Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field.
• 2-4 years of engineering experience (preferably in automotive product design).
• Proficiency in SolidWorks with a solid understanding of GD&T and drawing standards.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, such as NetSuite.
• Excellent verbal and technical writing abilities.
• Sound organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop components and assemblies for offroad vehicles using SolidWorks to create 3D models, drawings, and specifications.
• Perform engineering analysis (e.g., stress, tolerance) to ensure performance, durability, and safety.
• Participate in prototyping and testing to validate designs and identify improvements.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective.
• Lead and manage new product development projects from concept to production release.
• Develop and maintain detailed project timelines and milestones.
• Coordinate with internal resources to align project goals.
• Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Identify risks and mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
• Communicate project status to stakeholders and leadership.
• Create and maintain detailed engineering drawings, specs, and other docs.
• Contribute to installation instructions and customer-facing materials.
• Work with engineers, designers, and technicians to ensure seamless development.
• Communicate technical information to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Analyze challenges and develop solutions; seek opportunities for product improvement.
