Job summary

RCI Offroad, part of Enthusiast Auto Holdings, is seeking a Design Engineer I in Loveland, CO. You will design off-road components using SolidWorks, run analyses, and help bring new products to market.

The role is on-site, with regular hours, and offers competitive pay and benefits. Ideal candidates have a BS in Engineering and up to 2 years of automotive design experience, plus a passion for off-road vehicles.

Qualifications

BS in Engineering or related field.
0-2 years of engineering experience (automotive product design preferred).
SolidWorks proficiency with GD&T and drawing standards.
Familiarity with ERP systems, such as NetSuite.
Excellent verbal and technical writing abilities.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
Familiarity with welding, sheet metal forming processes, and basic manufacturing equipment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Passion for off-road lifestyle is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design and develop components for off-road vehicles using SolidWorks, creating 3D models and technical drawings.
Conduct engineering analyses (stress, tolerance) to ensure performance, durability, and safety.
Lead and manage new product development projects from concept to production release.
Create and maintain detailed engineering drawings and installation instructions.
Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, marketing, and sales to align project goals.
