Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology, based in Hayward, CA, is seeking a Design Engineer II to help drive New Product Introductions and manufacturing readiness. This role serves as the technical owner for products transitioning from development into production and customer deployment, coordinating with engineering, operations, and quality teams.

You will support prototype builds, first article inspections, and validation testing while addressing field issues and product escalations in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial/Electrical) or related field.

Responsibilities

• Supports introduction of new products from design release through prototype, qualification, and production.
• Acts as primary engineering resource for build follow activities and ensures manufacturing aligns with engineering intent.
• Collaborates with design, operations, manufacturing, supply chain and quality to resolve technical issues.
• Performs root-cause investigations and CAPA activities as needed.
• Participates in design reviews and cross-functional project meetings.
• Provides technical support for existing products and new product development.
