Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology is seeking a Design Engineer II to join our team in Hayward, CA or Hillsboro, OR. The role centers on designing and implementing temperature sensing solutions for semiconductor equipment, leveraging CAD tools to develop thermocouples and related assemblies.

You will work under senior engineers, contributing to product development, testing, and documentation, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure customer requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant technical experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Support design and development of temperature sensing solutions using CAD.
• Create product drawings, assemblies, BOMs, and engineering documentation.
• Review specifications and drawings to support design feasibility.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet customer requirements.
• Support prototype fabrication, testing, and qualification activities.
• Assist manufacturing with troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
