The role requires a mechanical engineering degree and solid CAD experience, with emphasis on SolidWorks and familiarity with NX/AutoCAD/CATIA/Inventor as pluses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in CAD design.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks.
• Experience with NX, AutoCAD, CATIA or Inventor is a plus.
• Understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Develops and modifies three-dimensional models and detailed engineering drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Designs components and assemblies according to project requirements and applicable industry standards.
• Creates bills of materials and defines material requirements.
• Collaborates with manufacturing, quality, and project management teams to support production and engineering activities.
• Supports prototype development, testing, and engineering procedure creation.
• Maintains accurate design documentation, including drawings, revisions, and technical reports.
• Identifies opportunities for design enhancements and cost-efficient engineering solutions.
