Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. in Warrendale, PA is seeking a Design Engineer II to design, test, and support Diamond Vision LED displays across the product lifecycle.

You will collaborate with overseas factory engineering teams to drive product enhancements, improve reliability, and reduce cost while maintaining quality through FAT and supplier engagement. This role emphasizes cross-functional teamwork and documentation accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or related engineering discipline.
• 3+ years in product design, quality engineering or related engineering role.
• Experience across full engineering lifecycle: design to field support.
• Knowledge of supplier quality and FAT testing.
• Experience with BOMs, drawings, specs, and CAD software.
• Familiarity with NEC/UL standards.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support Diamond Vision LED video displays.
• Collaborate with overseas factory engineering teams to drive improvements.
• Improve product quality, reliability, and cost via design enhancements.
• Lead corrective actions and CI initiatives using QRS.
• Engage with suppliers on FAT and qualifications; resolve issues.
• Create and maintain engineering docs, BOMs, specs, and drawings.
• Provide technical support to internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
