Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. is seeking a Design Engineer II to design, test, and support Diamond Vision LED displays used in major arenas and stadiums. You will partner with overseas factory teams to drive new products and improvements across the lifecycle.

The role emphasizes quality, reliability, and cost optimization, with opportunities to lead corrective actions, participate in FATs, and contribute to documentation and supplier collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field.
• 3+ years in product design, quality engineering, or systems design.
• Experience across full engineering lifecycle from design to field support.
• Knowledge of supplier quality and FAT.
• Experience with BOMs, drawings, specifications, and CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and support Diamond Vision LED video displays in stadiums and Times Square.
• Collaborate with overseas factory engineering teams to develop and improve products.
• Improve product quality, reliability, and cost through design enhancements.
• Lead corrective actions and continuous improvement using QRS.
• Collaborate with suppliers in FATs, qualifications, and issue resolution.
• Create and maintain engineering docs: BOMs, specs, drawings.
