Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Civil or Architectural Engineering is required.
• Successful completion of the FE exam before hire.
• Strong English verbal and written communication.
• Ability to lead and uphold safety policies and procedures.
• Structural engineering focus preferred.
• Basic building construction knowledge preferred.
• Familiarity with current building codes and industry practices preferred.
• Experience with pre-engineered metal building systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design metal building systems including structural steel, wall and roof panels.
• Develop safe and economical structures that meet project requirements and codes.
• Use proprietary software for frame, secondary, bracing, crane, mezzanine, and panel analysis.
• Collaborate with detailing department and team to communicate design requirements.
• Review and check structural drawings for accuracy.
• Support sales growth by delivering cost-effective solutions.
• Uphold safety policies and housekeeping standards.
