Job summary

Thomas & Hutton is seeking a motivated StructuralEIT in Charleston, SC or Savannah, GA to design and draft a wide range of structures for public and private clients. The role covers concrete, wood, steel, and masonry designs, and includes creating construction documents and performing on-site reviews.

The candidate should hold a Civil Engineering degree with a structural emphasis, have 2+ years of experience, and be proficient in Revit; US EIT licensure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis.
• 2+ years of structural drafting and design experience.
• US EIT licensure preferred.
• Proficiency with Revit is required; AutoCAD is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for a variety of structures.
• Create construction documents including drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate and work with other engineers and landscape architects during design.
• Assist with structural condition assessments and write reports.
• Visit job sites and assist with reviewing construction submittals and answering questions from contractors.
