Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field AND 1 year of experience in a related technical field OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Create and evaluate design ideas, considering form, function, cost, and manufacturability.
Develop design improvement concepts.
Design components to meet industry, customer, and cost requirements.
Define engineering materials, production costs, and technical specifications.
Participate in cross-functional product development efforts.
Support project tracking and provide technical assistance across departments.
Work effectively both independently and as a team.
Interpret engineering drawings and relevant specifications.
Uphold Positronic's standards of integrity, quality, and operational excellence.
Identify hazards in the workplace and report them to management and/or the safety coordinator.
Collaborate with the EHS department to meet local, state, and federal regulatory requirements, including OSHA, NFPA, DNR, EPA, and Amphenol sustainability practices.
Work with the Quality department to ensure compliance with AS9100 certification standards.
Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
