Job summary

Virnig Manufacturing seeks a Design Engineer to design, develop, and improve skid loader and excavator attachments. You will create 3D models, drawings, and docs while supporting manufacturing, sales, marketing, and service. Emphasis on manufacturability, safety, and cost objectives.

The role requires 2–5 years of engineering experience, a mechanical engineering degree, and strong communication skills. Hybrid work environment with growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2-5 years of engineering experience with machine design, test design, hydraulic systems, or electro-mechanical design.
• Experience with 3D CAD design software and strong mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Utilize 3D CAD to develop models, drawings, and assemblies.
• Create and maintain detailed 3D models, fabrication drawings, BOMs used in manufacturing.
• Develop engineering solutions meeting performance, safety, manufacturability, and cost targets.
• Perform FEA to evaluate structural integrity, durability, and product performance.
