Job summary

Virnig Manufacturing seeks a Design Engineer to join our Product Engineering Team. You will design, develop, and continually improve skid loader and excavator attachments, creating and maintaining 3D models, drawings, and BOMs to support manufacturing and service teams.

You’ll balance performance, manufacturability, safety, and cost throughout the product development cycle, perform FEA evaluations, and collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and operations to deliver high-quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2-5 years of engineering experience, preferably machine design or electro-mechanical design.
• Experience with 3D CAD design software.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Utilize standard 3D CAD software to develop models, drawings, and assemblies.
• Create and maintain 3D models, fabrication/drawing BOMs for manufacturing.
• Develop engineering solutions balancing performance, safety, manufacturability and cost.
• Perform FEA to evaluate structural integrity and product performance.
