Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Agriculture or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Ability to identify root causes of component failures.
• Knowledge in FEA, hydraulics, electronics, engine systems, statistics, materials mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Use engineering principles to analyze data or develop CAD models to optimize design opportunities.
• Apply engineering concepts to invent, design, document, build and test new solutions using CAD tools.
• Produce prototype parts with SolidWorks, PDMWorks, ECN tools and related design software.
• Collaborate in a team to meet goals and support team members.
• Coordinate and review machine testing results to ensure performance and reliability.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to support project execution and understand Vermeer engineering functions.
