Job summary

ABI Attachments, Inc. is seeking an experienced Mechanical/Design Engineer to drive product design for outdoor equipment. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage CAD drawings in Creo, and ensure robust, production-ready designs from concept to release.

The role requires 7+ years in machinery design engineering, a Bachelor's in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering, and hands-on experience with fluid power and electrical systems. On-site work with opportunities for growth are provided.

Qualifications

Experience with agricultural/equipment operation and product design.
Willing to learn ABI markets and products to become an expert.
Strong 3D modeling skills with Creo/Pro E preferred.
Experience with fluid power and DC electrical systems; CAN bus is a plus.
Outdoor work industry familiarity and integrity are essential.
Candidate should be self-motivated, eager to grow, and able to participate in ongoing education.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with suppliers and other departments in the design and release of new products.
Create and manage drawings; control revisions and releases of current and new products.
Handle change management and Engineering Change documentation.
Create and update Build of Materials for the assigned product.
Support manufacturing by providing necessary information to execute.
Inform Customer Service of product changes.
Assist in continuous improvement of current products.
Certify samples and first production runs meet quality standards.
