Job summary

Titan Formwork Systems is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to prepare formwork layout drawings and erection instructions, troubleshoot structural designs with the project team, and help maintain customer relationships to win projects and improve safety.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s in Civil/Mechanical/Structural/Construction Engineering, 0–2 years reading structural drawings and CAD with formwork methods, knowledge of formwork systems, strong communication, and MS Office proficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Structural, Construction Engineering, or related field.
• 0–2 years experience reading structural drawings and performing CAD using formwork methods.
• Experience reading structural drawings and CAD with formwork engineering methods.
• Knowledge of construction formwork systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication with all levels of the organization, customers and vendors.
• Proficient in Windows and MS Office (Excel data analysis; Outlook/Word).
• OSHA safety knowledge and regulations.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM Modeling is a plus.
• EIT License.

Primary Responsibilities

- Participates in and oversees the preparation of accurate formwork layout drawings and erection instructions for Customers.

- Troubleshoots and resolves concerns regarding structural design with project team.

- Develops and maintains customer relationships to enhance companys ability to procure projects, reduce risk, and ensure operational efficiency.

- Contributes to the projects safety goals by reducing hazards during the design planning state ensuring that all formwork systems meet construction and safety standards.

- Performs special projects and completes all other duties as assigned or requested for the general support of the organization.

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related engineering degree.

- 0-2 years minimum in experience of reading structural drawings and performing computer-aided
design utilizing formwork engineering methods.

- Experience reading structural drawings and performing computer-aided design utilizing formwork engineering methods.

- Knowledge of construction formwork systems.

- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and tasks, with an emphasis on thoroughness, attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, as well as with customers and vendors.

- Advanced PC skills, specifically in a Windows environment, including collecting and analyzing data in Excel, and creating documents and preparing correspondence in Outlook and Word.

- Knowledgeable of safety and relevant OSHA requirements and regulations.

- Knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM Modeling is a plus.

- EIT License.
