Job summary

Systems Technology Forum LTD (STF) supports a US Navy program, focusing on preliminary designs, specifications, and changes in design and performance before and during production.

Responsibilities include installation management, risk reduction analysis, CM support, and documentation preparation such as JCFs, ICDs, SIDs, and EDDs. Telework is not supported; travel is not required.

Qualifications

• Must have at least seven (7) years of experience in Systems Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Plans, integrates, tracks, coordinates, and executes installation management activities.
• Analyzes installation and production operations and systems, to include providing recommendations for risk reduction strategies.
• Provides technical support for production and installation Configuration Management, including technical recommendations to track, report, and manage production, procurement, and installation activities. Tracks all installation changes, approvals, and associated documentation; and coordinate ship-checks, site surveys, and installation schedule activities.
• Prepares installation documentation such as Justification Cost Forms (JCFs), ICDs, SHIPALT Installation Drawings (SIDs), Equipment Delivery Dates (EDDs), and Ship Change Documents (SCDs).
• Prepares shore-related products such as Standard Plans, Test Plans, Installation SOVT Reports, Base Electronic System Engineering Plans (BESEPs), Fleet Readiness Control Board (FRCB) inputs, Installation Design Plans (IDPs) and Site Survey Reports.
• Updates, maintains, and modernizesengineering documentation during the production phase as result of the ECP process.
• Prepares, reviews, and supports test plans, test readiness review briefings, and test events.

Job Summary

Supports a US Navy Program. Works on preliminary designs and specifications and evaluate the numerous and frequent change in design and performance which may affect the assigned equipment prior to and during production. Other tasks include, reviewing new approaches to circuitry and power distribution or incorporation of automatic self-test methods in equipment design. Telework is not supported. Travel is not required.

The minimum salary starts at $140,000 and the max is negotiable based on experience
