Job summary

Jasurda Group seeks a Design Engineer to lead the analysis and design of tubular steel transmission structures, collaborating with customers, project management, and fabrication teams to deliver code‑compliant designs from concept through construction.

The role involves preparing design calculations, reviewing specifications, and ensuring drawings conform to design criteria, while communicating with plant personnel to resolve technical questions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a structural design focus.
• 5+ years of relevant design experience.
• EIT certification required.
• Proficiency with structural design software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and design tubular steel transmission structures and associated products in accordance with project design criteria and applicable industry standards.
• Review customer specifications and coordinate design revisions with project management, modeling, and estimating teams.
• Prepare design calculations, cost estimates, and complete engineering documentation.
• Communicate directly with customers and plant personnel to resolve technical questions and design ambiguities.
• Review drawings for design conformance and perform quality checks on peer-designed work.
• Support resolution of technical issues arising in fabrication and the field.

They are seeking a Design Engineer to lead the analysis and design of tubular steel transmission structures, working closely with customers, project management, and fabrication teams to deliver accurate, code-compliant designs from concept through construction.
