Job summary

Livingston Builders Inc. seeks an architect or architectural professional with a passion for detailing—both traditional and contemporary—who will contribute to design coordination and construction management from concept through completion.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of post-degree architectural experience.
• Minimum 3 years of drafting experience.
• Degree in Architecture; licensure preferred
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and building-code requirements
• Interest in construction administration and working on active job sites
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across projects at different stages
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and professional presentation
• Ability to anticipate project-team needs and effectively manage up
• Comfortable working in both office and construction-site environments
• Availability for travel to projects approximately 25% of the time
• Technical Skills AutoCAD required
• Revit experience preferred; BIM experience is helpful but not required
• Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and InDesign
• Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with affiliated architectural teams, designers, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors
• Support construction management, budgeting, scheduling, and project compliance
• Assist with architectural schedules, budget spreadsheets, and project timelines
• Review construction sequencing, documentation, and site conditions
• Participate in project meetings and active site visits
• Support projects ranging from detailed interior renovations to large-scale ground-up residences
• Maintain Livingston Builders’ high standard of client service, organization, and professionalism
