EnVogue International in New York is seeking a Design Director – Home Textiles to lead the creative direction for bedding, pillows and other soft home categories. You will manage the design process from concept through production, building trend-right collections that align with retailers and market demands.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of textile or product design experience within bedding, decorative pillows, or related home textile categories.
• Proven experience leading and managing a team of designers.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating original textile designs, prints, patterns, and collections.
• Experience developing products for major retailers and mass-market customers.
• Strong understanding of color, textiles, materials, construction, and retail merchandising.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; experience with CAD and textile design tools.
• Strong creative vision, leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead creative direction and design development across home textile categories.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of textile and product designers.
• Develop fresh, trend-right designs, patterns, colors, and seasonal collections.
• Oversee the design process from initial concept through production.
• Create and direct original prints, patterns, textures, and color palettes.
• Develop cohesive product assortments tailored to retailer needs and price points.
• Partner with Product Development and Sales on new products and retail programs.
• Research market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor assortments.
• Oversee CADs, artwork, tech packs, specifications, and design presentations.
• Review samples for color, quality, construction, and overall design execution.
• Collaborate with overseas factories on sampling, development, and production.
• Present design concepts and collections to internal teams and retail buyers.
• Provide creative feedback and ensure consistency across product collections.
• Manage multiple projects, design timelines, and seasonal deadlines.
