Job summary

MSS Solutions LLC in Raleigh, NC is seeking an Assistant Project Engineer Design and Development to contribute to customer facilities projects. You will support the Project Engineer with design, drafting, and BIM tasks while ensuring alignment with project milestones.

The role requires a BS in a related field, strong technical writing and communication skills, and familiarity with HVAC concepts. This on-site position offers growth opportunities and exposure to a diverse set of building systems

Qualifications

Ability to read and understand blueprints and construction plans.
Understanding HVAC systems and controls and basic HVAC principles.
Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
Willingness to undergo background check and drug testing.

Responsibilities

Assist Project Engineer in determining project needs and responsibilities to meet customer facilities requirements.
Survey and appraise building systems including HVAC and Building Automation Systems.
Develop equipment specifications and construction drawings to ensure quantity, size, configuration, and options.
Run load calculations and produce reports for system sizing.
Provide on-site engineering support to meet design intent and milestones.
Assist in drafting, BIM modeling, and maintaining company standards.
Coordinate project-specific engineering and prepare detailed engineering reports.
