MSS Solutions, LLC in Raleigh, NC seeks an Engineering Lead in Design and Development to drive complex engineering projects from concept through construction. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, ensure code compliance, prepare specs and drawings, and maintain project schedules while delivering value to clients.

The role requires PE licensure, strong HVAC understanding, blueprints know-how, and the ability to lead and mentor junior engineers in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifikationen

• Four year college degree in engineering or construction management.
• Licensed professional engineer in at least one state.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and construction plans and specifications.
• HVAC systems knowledge and basic HVAC principles.
• Strong work ethic and professional demeanor.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Background check and drug test clearance.

Aufgaben

• Manage, organize, and facilitate engineering projects to ensure code-compliant designs within schedules.
• Interact with project managers during bidding and pre-con periods.
• Define project needs, constraints, and responsibilities to meet facilities requirements.
• Develop relationships with customers to facilitate design and operational success.
• Provide quality control and reviews to ensure compliance with codes and MSS standards.
• Lead the design team and support senior engineers with specified activities.
• Prepare equipment specs, construction drawings, and documents with accuracy.
• Coordinate project engineering and hold submittal reviews to maintain scope and schedule.
• Develop and implement a project-specific commissioning program and provide on-site support.
• Monitor outcomes to resolve issues and critical path deliverables.
