Job summary

Coach is a global fashion house based in New York. The role partners with internal Coach designers on seasonal development, product expectations, and timely deliverables across trends, color palettes, and licensing coordination.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion/Apparel Design with 4 years of experience, proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, and willing to travel up to 3% with a three-day-per-week in-office schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion/Apparel Design or related field; 4 years of experience in design or related role.
• Experience with Computer aided design CAD software – Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop.
• Experience developing, designing, or creating new applications, ideas, relationships, systems, or products, including artistic contributions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with internal Coach designers on seasonal development, product expectations, and deliverables.
• Conduct seasonal trend research to pass to designers.
• Pass trend and seasonal color palette to licensing team.
• Coordinate with internal teams to pass seasonal prints to license vendors.
• Create and implement a process with internal teams to ensure licensed products follow approval process.
• Work with materials team to secure tie back materials across retail and outlet.
• Ensure dates are captured for bulk projections and orders for tie back materials.
• Follow up on sample status for proto and show sample.
