Job summary

Coach in New York is seeking a design professional to partner with internal Coach designers on seasonal development, product expectations, and deliverables, ensuring clear alignment and timely approvals. You will conduct seasonal trend research and pass color palettes to licensing, coordinating with teams to capture prints and materials.

A Bachelor’s degree in Fashion/Apparel Design and 4 years of experience are required; CAD tools (Illustrator/Photoshop) are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion/Apparel Design or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in fashion/apparel design or related role.
• Experience examining garments on models and off models; translating ideas into designs.
• Experience with CAD tools (Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop) for design work.
• Ability to discuss design ideas with sales, management, or clients.
• Experience selecting materials and production techniques for products.

Responsibilities

• Partner with internal Coach designers on seasonal development and deliverables.
• Conduct seasonal trend research and pass to designers.
• Pass trend and seasonal color palette to licensing team.
• Coordinate with internal teams to pass seasonal prints to license vendors.
• Work with materials team to secure tie back materials for retail/outlet.
• Manage development calendar and ensure timely information flow from Coach design.
• Support license accounts on approval processes (hardware/trim/print).
• Track sample status and ensure timelines for proto and show samples.
