Job summary

Webcor seeks a Design Manager to lead the design development and coordination across multi-disciplinary teams in Los Angeles. You will drive the design schedule, manage submittals and approvals, and ensure constructability through BIM protocols and collaboration with the Owner and design partners.

The role requires a licensed architect/engineer with 10+ years of experience, strong leadership, and excellent communication to align designers, builders, and operations.

Qualifications

Licensed Architect/Engineer with 10+ years of designing leadership experience.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture is preferred.
Professional Engineer or Registered Architect is preferred; affiliations with professional orgs are advantageous.

Responsibilities

Lead design development from Design Development through Construction and Occupancy.
Coordinate with Owner, design team, and Webcor stakeholders to ensure deliverables meet requirements.
Establish BIM protocols with VDC and ensure compliance across teams.
Manage design submittals, RFIs, approvals, and constructability reviews.
Facilitate design meetings and workshops; document outcomes and actions.
