Job summary

Aeropostale seeks a highly organized Design Assistant/Coordinator to support the Design Team and act as the key liaison between head designers and third-party vendors. The role requires strong communication, a foundation in garment knowledge, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The candidate will coordinate samples, lab dips, and approvals, maintain design libraries, and assist in preparing design packages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience.
• Strong sketching ability and quick sketching in Illustrator.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between design team and third-party vendors.
• Communicate design intent, fit comments, and product details clearly.
• Coordinate submission process for samples, lab dips, and approvals.
• Track and organize all submits to meet deadlines.
• Manage vendor emails with timely responses.
• Prepare and follow up on fit comments with designers.
