Job summary

Aeropostale, Inc. is seeking an Associate Designer to support seasonal apparel collections, with a primary focus on collaborative initiatives, licensing, and third‑party vendor programs.

You will work with internal teams and external partners to ensure designs align with brand identity, quality standards, and seasonal timelines. The role covers day‑to‑day design development, technical execution, and liaison with head designers and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field is preferred.
• 1–3 years of apparel design or product development experience.
• Experience on collaborations or with third‑party vendors is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and execution of seasonal apparel collections.
• Coordinate sample submissions, lab dips, and design approvals.
• Create and update tech packs, specs, and design comments.
• Collaborate with Merchandising, Technical Design, Production, and Sourcing.
• Prepare design packages, mood boards, and presentations.
