Mark-Tanner-Construction, Inc. seeks a Design Coordinator to guide clients through the design of their new custom homes.

Working directly with each client, the Design Coordinator analyzes needs, develops plans, specifications, and material selections, and oversees the design process from start to finish. You will set timelines and budgets, coordinate ordering and installation, visit job sites, and ensure every design element meets the standard our custom clientele expects.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in interior design or related field, or equivalent experience preferred
• 2–4 years of experience in interior design and construction
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel, Sage Contractor100, P-Vault paperless billing, and general computer applications
• Strong organizational skills to implement schedules and maintain client files
• A proactive, resourceful approach to problem-solving, both on-site and off
• The ability to think independently and lead each project toward success for both the client and the company
• A valid Class C driver’s license with driving record acceptable to the company’s insurance carrier

Responsabilidades

• Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, subcontractors, designers, and fellow employees at every stage of the project
• Research and recommend materials and design elements for residential projects based on each client’s goals and needs
• Prepare design proposals specifying materials and furnishings, including lighting, furniture, wall finishes, flooring, and plumbing fixtures
• Prepare final plans using computer design applications
• Create a timeline for each interior design project and estimate project costs
• Place orders for materials and oversee the installation of design elements
• Visit job sites to ensure design elements are being implemented as specified
• Perform other related duties as assigned
