Job summary

Business of Home is seeking a Designer to support the Principal and design team on all phases of high-end residential interior design projects. The role requires knowledge of interior design and a strong ability to organize information, manage time, and follow through on assignments under deadline pressure.

You will work with the Project Manager and team to assemble design presentations, gather quotes for proposals, and produce proposal packages for clients.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Principal and design team on all phases of high-end residential projects.
• Assemble design presentations with Project Manager and team.
• Gather quotes and prepare accurate design proposals for clients.
• Prepare proposals and proposal packages for client submissions.
• Maintain communication on project timelines, orders, and progress with vendors and clients.
• Research and supply information for project budgets.
• Track reserves, lead times, inspections, deliveries, and installations; coordinate item approvals.
• Support AutoCAD/ArchiCAD plans and renderings to communicate design intent.
• Maintain interior design plan documents, finish schedules, specs, and shop drawings.
• Source furnishings and finishes aligned with client needs and design vision.
