Job summary

Bechtel Corporation seeks a Design Coordinator to support pumped storage hydropower projects. You will coordinate day-to-day engineering across civil, geotechnical, structural, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical disciplines, tracking deliverables and ensuring design maturity.

This role reports to the Design Manager and interfaces with procurement, construction, and external design partners. Travel to project sites may be required; strong communication and governance are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in civil engineering (or international equivalent) and 10–13 years of relevant experience or 14–17 years of relevant work experience.
• Familiarity with hydropower and large infrastructure design interfaces.
• Experience with engineering workflows, change management, and design reviews.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day engineering activities across civil, geotechnical, structural, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.
• Track design deliverables against schedules and manage interfaces with stakeholders.
• Support constructability reviews and ensure design maturity aligns with project requirements.
• Liaise with procurement, construction, and external design partners.
