Job summary

Ethan Allen Global, Inc. is seeking a Design Consultant to create personalized design solutions and drive sales in our design centers. You will plan spaces, select fabrics, and present complete design packages while building strong client relationships.

You will leverage in-store and online tools to manage projects, stay updated on trends, and collaborate with the Design Center Leader to meet sales goals and participate in training programs. Strong communication and tech skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent with relevant work experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a design-related field is desirable.
• Broad knowledge of interior design and effective sales techniques.

Responsibilities

• Create design solutions aligned with customer preferences and budget.
• Sell Ethan Allen products and services.
• Represent the Ethan Allen brand in all interactions; greet customers and secure appointments and in-home consultations.
• Utilize social media and grassroots marketing to grow the business.
• Educate customers about complimentary design services and available finance options.
• Stay current on design and color trends to craft fashionable solutions.
• Coordinate with the team to provide excellent service before and after sale.
• Enter orders using the retail POS system and maintain a neat design center.
