Design Within Reach is seeking a Design Specialist to blend design sensibility with consultative selling, representing iconic brands and building lasting relationships with clients and the local design community. You will report to the General Manager and contribute to the store's ongoing success.

This role requires a design-forward mindset, retail experience, and strong problem-solving skills to guide clients through product selection and space planning.

Qualifications

• Design or retail experience in interior design or related field.
• Experience in retail sales, design consulting, or customer success (preferred).
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales by delivering personalized design consultations and solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and the local design community.
• Meet and exceed sales performance goals and KPIs including revenue targets and client retention.
