Job summary

A leading home organization company is seeking creative individuals for a Design Consultant role in Edison, NJ. You will enjoy a flexible, hybrid work schedule while helping customers optimize their spaces through personalized consultations. This position requires no prior sales experience, as comprehensive training and support will be provided. Closets by Design is seeking motivated and creative individuals to help our customers organize their homes.

As a Closets by Design Design Consultant, you’ll enjoy the flexibility of working from home while meeting clients in their homes. We provide pre-set appointments with great customers right in your area—no cold calling required. Plus, you’ll receive comprehensive sales and design training, so no prior experience is necessary.

• Direct track to become a Senior Design Consultant with pay/bonus increase.
• Hybrid remote position with an open and flexible schedule.
• 12-week paid sales training and ongoing mentorship.
• Pre-set appointments with new and repeat clients.

A Day In The Life

• Begin the sales route with appointments (all leads and marketing materials are provided).
• Build rapport with the customer to understand their organizational needs.
• Walk through the home to assess opportunities.
• Educate customers on our products and services.
• Follow our Sales Training and use communication skills to help residential customers with their home organizational needs.
