Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a project coordination professional to support the Design & Construction team during design, procurement, pre-construction, construction administration, and close-out phases. The role emphasizes self-motivation, punctuality, and professional communication while growing through the full design-to-construction process.

The candidate will handle document control, budgets, cost estimates, and meeting participation, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• BA degree in Construction Management preferred, equivalent experience accepted.
• Two or more years of experience required.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects at once and meet deadlines.
• Must be able to read and comprehend construction plans and documents.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Must be able to walk on construction sites with uneven terrain and obstacles.
• May be required to occasionally travel.
• May regularly sit and stand for several hours at a time.

Responsibilities

• Document control including maintenance of project filing.
• Assist with maintaining project budgets and project reporting.
• Structure cost estimates and schedules in collaboration with the PM.
• Maintain all construction files.
• Maintain various construction, design, safety, and insurance logs.
• Must be highly organized and be able to assist in the management of multiple projects simultaneously.
• Participate in various design and construction progress meetings.
• Assist project management team with bids, budgets, schedules, contracts, change orders and pay applications.
