Job summary

Presidio Bay Ventures, Inc. in San Francisco, CA is hiring a Design & Construction Associate Project Manager to support its growing portfolio of Bay Area properties.

This full-time, salaried role offers mentorship from senior leadership and exposure to high-profile projects across multiple active assignments. The team focuses on innovative office environments and value‑add developments, with an emphasis on planning, design coordination, permitting, and successful project delivery.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related fields.
  • Bachelors in CM, Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design, Urban Planning, or related field.
  • Exceptional organizational and detail-oriented work.
  • Strong written and verbal communication with a collaborative approach.
  • Proficiency with MS Office; experience with Bluebeam, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, MS Project or similar tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of tenant improvement, capital improvement, repositioning, placemaking, and office relocation projects across multiple active projects and clients.
  • Assist with project planning, design coordination, permitting, and preconstruction activities.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, vendors, brokers, and local agencies to support successful project delivery.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, capture meeting minutes, distribute action items, and follow up with project teams to ensure accountability.
  • Maintain project documentation, including contract logs, consultant trackers, team directories, contact lists, permit logs, and other project management tools.
  • Assist with processing consultant contracts, invoices, billing coordination, monthly reporting, budget tracking, and project forecasting.
  • Track project schedules, milestones, procurement activities, and key deliverables across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Review drawings, submittals, RFIs, ASIs, and change orders for coordination and completeness.
  • Perform regular site visits to document construction progress, photograph field conditions, and assist with issue resolution.
  • Support project closeout activities, including punch lists, warranties, as-built documentation, training materials, and turnover packages.
  • Contribute to design reviews and project discussions focused on quality, constructability, operational efficiency, and long-term project success.

We are actively hiring for a Design & Construction Associate Project Manager in San Francisco, CA to support PBV’s expanding portfolio. These positions will play an integral role in supporting the daily operations of a rapidly growing portfolio of properties throughout the Bay Area, ensuring each asset is managed to PBV’s standard of excellence.

This is a unique opportunity to join an established Bay Area development and investment firm with a rapidly growing presence. You will work on high-profile projects already underway, gain direct mentorship from senior leadership, and play a central role in redefining what Class A office environments can deliver in today’s evolving market.

This is a full‑time, salaried position with an expected base salary range of $110,000-$145,000 per year, with final compensation determined by experience and qualifications. Presidio Bay Ventures also offers a comprehensive benefits program that includes, but is not limited to:

Qualifications/Experience:
  • 2–5 years of experience in construction management, architecture, engineering, commercial construction, real estate development, or related fields.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design, Urban Planning, or a related field.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage administrative responsibilities across multiple concurrent projects while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional and collaborative approach.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint); experience with Bluebeam, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Microsoft Project, or similar software is a plus.
  • Self‑motivated, curious, and eager to learn from experienced development and construction professionals.
