Job summary

RECARO Aircraft Seating is seeking a Purchasing focal point for Design Change (DC) activities, coordinating DC evaluations and ensuring changes are evaluated and completed within established timelines.

Responsibilities include representing Purchasing in CRB meetings, preparing and presenting DC topics, identifying cost‑saving opportunities, and coordinating with Configuration Management to resolve DC-related issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, Information Systems or a related field.
• Experience with change management, design analysis or project-based roles.
• Experience in manufacturing, technology or engineering environments.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in tracking change processes.

Responsibilities

• Own DC evaluation and pre-check of DCs, clarifying with Engineering when information is missing.
• Represent Purchasing in CRB meetings and present DC issues.
• Create and maintain Purchasing DC KPI and report them within Shopfloor Management.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Configuration Management to resolve DC-related issues and ensure timely completion.
