Job summary

AdventHealth seeks a professional to lead the development of innovation labs, collaborate with the Design Center, and build prototypes that inspire creative environments. The role emphasizes primary and secondary research, including data analytics and trend analysis, to support design-driven decisions.

The ideal candidate will have strong storytelling, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with a focus on human-centered design and meeting deadlines in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv is required.
• Grad or Equiv field of study; pursuing bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, UX Design, Human Centered Design, Innovation, Design Thinking, Sociology, Psychology, or similar.
• Experience with designing engaging environments and innovation labs is preferred.
• Ability to develop prototypes and conduct primary/secondary research.

Job Description:

Leads the development of highly effective and engaging innovation labs. Collaborates with the Design Center Team to ensure an inspiring, creative, open, and productive environment. Develops prototypes as directed. Supports primary research by developing research stimuli, taking observational notes, and recording focus group and interview notes. Conducts secondary research, including online research, competitive analysis, trend analysis, data analytics, and reviewing white papers and industry reports. Seeks out and participates in educational opportunities to learn new, creative approaches to facilitation, design thinking, prototyping, and innovation. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure design is incorporated into the co-creation process as appropriate. Works independently on projects as assigned. Performs other duties as assigned.
