Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead on-site activities for design-build commercial projects in the Des Moines area. You will manage field operations, subcontractors, schedules, safety, and quality control from groundbreaking to closeout.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of commercial superintendent experience, proven ground-up or large renovation delivery, and proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, or MS Project. OSHA 30 preferred; degree in CM or Engineering a plus.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial construction superintendent experience.
• Ground-up and large-scale renovation delivery experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, and contracts.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site construction activities from groundbreaking to completion.
• Manage field operations, subcontractors, scheduling, safety and quality.
• Collaborate with PMs, design teams, and owners throughout design-build.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules to hit milestones.
• Document progress with daily reports and logs; ensure safety standards.
