Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Superintendent for a top-tier commercial general contractor in Des Moines, IA. The role requires guiding ground-up and renovation projects from start to finish, coordinating subcontractors and field teams, and maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of superintendent experience in commercial construction, strong leadership and communication skills, and familiarity with construction drawings and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent within commercial construction.
• Experience managing ground-up and/or renovation projects from start to completion.
• OSHA certification and other industry certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate subcontractors, field personnel, inspections, and material deliveries.
• Lead project meetings and coordinate with project managers, owners, architects, and subcontractors.
• Maintain project schedules while ensuring quality workmanship and client satisfaction.
• Enforce jobsite safety standards and OSHA compliance.
