Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Superintendent for sustainable building projects in Western Springs, IL. Oversee on-site construction from preconstruction to closeout, manage subcontractors, schedules, safety, and quality, ensuring project milestones are met.

Requires 7+ years of superintendent experience on ground-up or renovation projects in education, municipal, or commercial sectors; proficiency with Procore/Bluebeam/MS Project; OSHA 30 preferred; Bachelor's in CM/Engineering or related

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years as a superintendent in commercial construction.
• Experience with ground-up and/or renovation projects (education, municipal, or commercial preferred).
• Strong knowledge of construction means & methods, scheduling, and sequencing.
• Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and complex project logistics.
• Familiarity with design-build delivery methods preferred.
• Leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with construction technology (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project).

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site construction activities from preconstruction through project closeout
• Manage day-to-day field operations including subcontractors, scheduling, safety, and quality control
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are achieved
• Coordinate closely with project managers, design teams, and clients to ensure seamless execution
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe, compliant jobsite at all times
• Lead subcontractor meetings and ensure alignment with project goals and expectations
• Monitor project progress and proactively address challenges to avoid delays or cost overruns
• Ensure workmanship meets company standards and project specifications
