Job summary

ARCO Design/Build is seeking a Construction Design/Build Project Manager (DBM) in Pittsburgh to manage the full project life-cycle from concept through completion. You will lead estimation, scheduling, design coordination, cost tracking, safety, and proposal development, while ensuring quality and on-time delivery.

You will collaborate with clients and design teams to refine preliminary concepts into buildable solutions, participate in proposals, and oversee subcontractor selection.

Qualifications

• Recent or upcoming completion of an accredited Civil, Mechanical, Architectural, Construction Management, Building Science, or Construction Engineering program (or related).
• Interest in design/build, tilt-up concrete, industrial builds, etc.
• Experience in construction preferred but not required.
• GPA 3.0+ preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Project.
• Excellent verbal communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead every facet of the project from start to finish, including estimating, scheduling, quality control, billing, design coordination, cost tracking, safety and proposal development.
• Deliver accurate, detailed project estimates.
• Collaborate with clients and design teams to shape preliminary concepts into buildable solutions.
• Participate in proposal meetings, refine scope, reduce costs, and provide value-driven engineering insights.
• Lead subcontractor selection and buyout to secure top talent and cost-effective partnerships.
• Drive communication on-site with bi-weekly site meetings to align teams and resolve challenges.
• Coordinate multiple moving parts to keep scope, schedule and budget on track.
• Champion quality and continuous improvement and transform client feedback into measurable results.
• Uphold integrity and ensure client satisfaction remains central to every project.
