Job summary

Southland Industries offers an internship program designed to immerse students in design-build, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection coordination. A project engineer intern will assist design and project managers in coordinating a project, developing skills in design, estimating, and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Support field labor
• Provide labor feedback
• Support equipment and subcontractor procurement
• Ensure document control
• Support design, trade, and subcontractor coordination
• Assist in budget analysis, cost and margin projections, estimate project changes and impacts
• Assist in project schedules
